Situation
MAKRO CASH & CARRY SPAIN wants to optimize and update the current business model looking for a better customer satisfaction and consequent increase on sales.
Solution
New Business Model first pilot store in Bilbao, later implemented in rest of stores around Spain.
14 different modules analyzed, planed and optimized in Bilbao store: New product distribution in Stores by “worlds” (kitchen world, office world, etc.), new store’s look & feel and interior design, CRS system at the entrance, established new sales force team, new store’s work flow, organization functions structure, new products´ pricing strategy, new “Sales Chef” area, new home delivery service, new food section assortment, new kitchen section assortment, new promotional brochure, new “unique opportunities” section.
